• Created messaging and other communications materials to support key storytelling moments for league and university partners (e.g., uniform launches, Super Bowl, NBA All-Star Weekend, Game Growers, NWSL).

Miami Marlins - Director, Communications
In my role as Director, Communications of the Miami Marlins, I was charged to lead a team of eleven team members, accountable for the daily operation of the Communications and Publications departments. Led all aspects of brand management, corporate communications, crisis communications, public relations, marketing strategy, and campaigns.
• Developed and presented the overall strategic communications plan for the executive leadership team, focused on local and national marketing programs and campaigns to elevate brand awareness, loyalty, and reputation management.
• Partnered with cross-functional departments to create communications and marketing plans consisting of social media and public relations strategies for promotional and community events and numerous local, national, and international campaigns.
• Leveraged strong internal partnerships, collaborating with the creative team to develop cutting-edge, strategic on-brand marketing material, including style guides, company collateral, and in-house graphics production.
• Spearheaded professional development programs for team members and interns,
providing valuable experiences and opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.
• Facilitated a crisis communications strategy for a series of unfortunate events, including leaked corporate financial documents, the tragic death of a transcendent player and community member, and an investigation into company citizenship following a team sale.
